Twilight Christmas Parade

Friday 23 November, 7pm
Jackson St, Petone

A magical parade ending at Santa’s Grotto, where you can see Christmas lights, enjoy chorus music and get your free pick with Santa! Santa’s Grotto (Old Jail Lock-up, 274b Jackson Street) will be open for 4 weeks.

Christmas in Da Hood Gala

Saturday 1 December, 10am-3pm
Pomare School, Partridge Street, Taita

Christmas in Dowse Square

Celebrate all things Christmas! From Northern Hemisphere winter wonderland to the classic kiwi summer Christmas, join us to celebrate the magic of Christmas from all over the world in a day of fun for the whole family. There will be loads of fun activities for the kids, live entertainment, food trucks and of course, a visit from Santa himself!

Festive Flicks

Bring a picnic and enjoy a relaxed afternoon of Christmas movies on the big screen with Nick Tansley’s Carols Caravan providing a very festive intermission between movies.

Join us in our family lounge, The Hive, for art-making sessions to make and create together.

Common Room: Intro to Model-making

Friday 7 & 14 December,  4-6pm
War Memorial Library, Queens Drive
Learn how to assemble and paint a Warhammer model! By the end you will have a completed model to keep and use in table top and role-playing games. Free for ages 13-20.

Come along to the annual Stokes Valley Christmas Parade, set to strike Stokes Valley on Saturday 8th December. The stalls can be found on Evans Street and Speldhurst Park.

Stokes Valley Pool+Fitness Christmas Party

George Street, Stokes Valley
Join a fun filled Christmas party at the pool. Santa will be there, along with spot prizes. Entry is a gold coin donation.
