It’s dog registration time

All tags are changing from green to yellow

If you have a dog, it’s important that you renew its registration by Wednesday 31 July.

All dog tags issued for the 2019-20 period will be yellow so if your beloved pet goes missing we can reunite you.

All dogs older than three months must be registered. If you have ‘responsible dog owner’ status, it’s important to also pay your registration fees by 31 July to continue to qualify for discounted fees.

If your dog has been registered with Hutt City Council before, you should have received a renewal form in the mail. Your options for payment are:

If you’re registering your dog or puppy for the first time, you can download a download an application form or apply online.

Re-register online by 31 July and go in the draw to win an iPad.
