Hutt City Council wants to see more homes built in Lower Hutt that enhance people’s standard of living through greater well-being by having high quality homes which are warmer, drier, healthier and cost less to run. That is why we support Homestar® which provides a way for architects, designers builders, developers and home owners to design, build and renovate houses so that they are healthier and more energy efficient.
For the first time we are offering a free Homestar® assessment for the design of a new dwelling or major renovation. If you are in the design stage of building or renovating this is a great opportunity for you. If you are a developer you might want to test producing a house at a higher specification than building code minimums. Architects or designers may have a client who is building a house and wants it to be verified.
We encourage you to put your name forward and be involved in building a better future for our community.
If you meet the terms and conditions below please send your name and contact details to Gregory Street our Accredited Homestar® Assessor on Gregory.Street@huttcity.govt.nz by 28 February 2019 with Homestar® Giveaway in the subject line.
